How To Change Your Mouse Sensitivity (LoL DPI) In Windows?

The first and simplest way is by accessing Settings > Devices from within Microsoft Edge.
From here, find Mouse settings on the left-hand pane where it says “Mouse Interfaces.” Clicking this will take us over onto an interface for configuring pointers such as mice or touchpads (I assume).

Should You Change In-Game Sensitivity?
The first question you may be asking is “do I even need to change my dpi for League of Legends?”.
The quick answer is no, but let me explain. If your in-game sensitivity is not set high enough you can miss last hits on minions and fail to dodge skill shots from the enemy team.
However, if it’s too high you may over shoot your skill shots and last hit minions that you don’t intend too. Although, there is a minimum in-game sensitivity that will help you play better than if you had it turned off completely.

What is fakers DPI?
In the year of 2013, when Faker was still playing LoL without a rank in soloQ he said his DPI is 1000 and later on changed it to 800.
He would have been around 14 years old at that time let’s make it 600 CPI for fair assumption(assuming if we want).
There’s no way your hands could move that fast for a precise click unless you were a robot or used a lot of modifiers. I would assume he just uses 800 because that’s the standard nowadays it doesn’t matter if his hand moves a little bit to the left or right when clicking.
What DPI does Doublelift use?
Doublelift plays on a 1920×1080 monitor with 100% scaling. Since this is a 4K monitor, it’s safe to say that the DPI would be around 400-450. I mean he has always been very vocal about his hatred for playing at low dpi so it only makes sense.
BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! For over a year now he has also been using the Razer Naga Hex V2 mouse which features 6 side buttons mapped to F1-F6 making his life much easier when binding abilities to those keys specifically.
He uses custom binds where F4/F5 are TP/Ult respectively and F3 is Ghost/Smite depending on what he needs that game. It should also be noted that he does use a Razer Blackwidow Keyboard, but it’s unlikely that affects his gameplay much.
Is 800 DPI too low for League of Legends?
League of Legends is a very CPU and GPU intense MOBA game, so you might need higher FPS to be able to play it well.
But does this mean that your DPI also should be high? I have tried both 800 dpi and 400 dpi on my old mouse (Steelseries Ikari Laser), but honestly I didn’t find any difference in the feel of the game. The camera control was just as smooth with either dpi setting.
There are players who experience smoother camera movement at low dpi settings though, so maybe that’s why I couldn’t tell any difference.
So if you are playing on an older slower PC or laptop where frame rates are low then you might want to try lowering your DPI for increased in-game responsiveness.
