Marrakech has fairly mild temperatures and is a wonderful destination to visit any time of year. If you"re looking for fewer crowds and ideal weather, spring and fall are the best time to visit Marrakech.
Winter in Marrakech isn"t too shabby either. Jake and I were last in Marrakech in February. We were surprised at how pleasant the weather was with abundant sunshine and temps in the high 70s. The crowds were slim and the hotel rates were cheap.
Marrakech weather in February was perfect for exploring the city and visiting the sights, but I did wish for warmer temperatures to take advantage of the beautiful riad rooftops and sun lounges. It was too cold for laying out or wearing light layers. Hence, next time I visit Marrakech I will plan for the ideal months of mid-March through May or September through October.
In short, the best time to visit Marrakech is mid-March through May and September through early November.

Marrakech in Spring: March through May
Spring is the best time to visit Marrakech for colorful foliage and pool weather
Spring is bright and full of color. Flowers are blooming and the temperatures are ideal hovering in the 70s and 80s. Visiting Marrakech in March, April, or May allows for comfortable sightseeing weather and is warm enough to soak up the afternoon sun by the pool.
Marrakech doesn’t get too much rain but keep in mind that April and November/December have the highest chance of showers...which usually averages to about five to six rainy days a month.
Spring is a popular time of year with savvy tourists who know how hot it can get in the summer. To avoid the crowds and have a better chance at finding hotel deals, aim for mid-spring. Outside of Easter weekend, Marrakech in April is a good bet when it comes to crowd levels.

marrakech in Fall:September though November
Fall is the best time to visit Marrakech for perfect weather and medium crowd levels
The months of September through November are glorious with a mix of warm and cool temperatures. The best time to go to Marrakech in fall would be October and early November.
Summer heat can linger into September with highs in the low 90s, sometimes 100s. Avoid early September if you don"t want to chance a melting hot vacation.
Marrakech weather in October is by far the best. Temperatures range from the 50s to 70s. Perfect for sightseeing in the morning and spending the afternoon by the pool or lounging on a riad rooftop.
Marrakech in November is nice as well, especially early November. It"s a tad cooler than October with highs in the low 70s and lows in the 40s. Perfect for those that enjoy crisp mornings that transition to warm afternoons. Late fall would be the best time to visit Marrakech if you"re looking for comfortable weather to tour the sights without breaking a sweat and don"t care about pool time.
If fewer crowds are a priority, visit Marrakech in October and early November. September is still peak tourist season and late November sees increased crowds (and chance of rain) as tourists are looking for a warm escape.

visit Marrakech in winter for a sunny escape and hotel deals (after Christmas)
Winter is perfectly quiet and peaceful as long as you don’t visit during the holidays. Tourists from cooler countries will come to Morocco to escape the cold during the Christmas season.
I was in Marrakech in February and really enjoyed it. Temperatures range in the 40s and 60s in late winter. The mornings and evenings require a light jacket, but the afternoons are perfectly pleasant. Jake and I would enjoy rooftop tea breaks in jeans and a t-shirt and be perfectly comfortable.
Marrakech in December, like April, has the highest chance of rain. In reality, it only averages out to five or six days during the entire month. It would still be wise to bring your umbrella though. If you’re looking for good prices, low crowds, and cooler temps, late winter is the best time to go to Marrakech.

Summer is the worst time to visit Marrakech with unbearable heat and high crowd levels
The absolute worst time to visit Marrakech is summer. Avoid visiting Marrakech in June, July, and August as these months bring tourists that don"t know better alongside stifling heat. Temperatures can become extremely uncomfortable spiking above 100. Shade and water are extremely valuable this time of year.
You"ll also be paying a high price for hotels and have a harder time getting a reservation for popular tours and at restaurants. Plan to visit tourist sights as early as possible to beat the crowds.
In summary
The best time to go to Marrakech is fall and spring if you want weather warm enough to lay by the pool. Winter is best for lower crowds and comfortable sightseeing weather, sans pool time. Avoid summer if you can because the heat makes touring the city a miserable, sweaty experience.
